Week 10 : Forced Connection 2 : Poem ??

From the last post that I already made, it's about how we forced subject and adjective becoming one. so it's about mug and feelings. Forced Connection not only can used for subject and adjective. It can be make by words. Do you know a web named www..play.magneticpoem.com? Well in this post I will tell you about it.

It's a web about each word that mix randomly, we have to arrange it become a sentence, and when it become a sentence, it can become a paragraph. I think it's a funny and educated games for adults and children because it need some creativity, some logic, to solve problem when there are no more ideas left from our mind.

This what I already made alone

This is what me and my teamate made
This are me and my whole class already made

It's such a great day to made a poem with this app. Because when we play that game on our class, it really twist our mind, because we have to choose only one word each person in a round. We have to think more, to make our think become one poem. You have to play it sometimes. Because it will be fun and it will twist your brain !!!

Week 8 : Analogical 2

When we walk around, suddenly we see a thing that remind us into something else. For the example is we can see a sad face on a car. It’s a accidentaly thing that we can see but also it can become a funny and interesting thing that we can seek.

When me and my team mate walk around the school to hunt some expression from some  objects, we found an expression from the socket plug. Its like a shock socket plug that can I see. Actually I turn over the camera to get the expression.

Actually it's a safety keys, but its looks like a shock expression that have trunk

This is a Chinese's alphabet, when I capture it upside down, it looks like a monster that have hand, eyes, and horns.

This is a sign that from put the wet umbrella in to the plastic bag, but it looks like a very happy expression

This is a carpet from NAFA's entry, the "Welcome" matt, but when we capture it upside down, it looks like a happy man face.

The tissue container that I found in the toilet is like a grumpy face

This is the toilet that I think it have a happy man with the beard. It seem so awkward when I look at it.

Week 7 : Analogical 1

Analogical thinking is what we do when we use information from one domain (the source or analogy) to help solve a problem in another domain (the target). Experts often use analogies during the process of problem solving, and analogies have been involved in numerous scientific discoveries. However, studies of novice problem solvers show that they often have difficulty in recognising that one problem can be used to solve another.

In this analogical thinking class, what we can solve that from Mushroom, that can be inspired and become into a mushroom lamp. Its inspired from the nature that can be realisation into and object that can useful in our daily life.

From this picture that that you can see that bracket can be inspired by a tree. So we can see that all of nature things, can be related and make it into a usefull thing. Not destroy it but make it into inspire things.

So the conclusion is, everything is connected into the nature. We can not abandon the nature, because everything that exist on the nature, it can make us to be inspired. In my opinion, something that related and inspired by the nature, is a thing that have more value on that thing.

Week 9 : Forced Connection

What is Forced Connection? It is a way  of describing the act of combining 2 or more unrelated things to express a new message. It can also be described as cross fertilization. Which is mean, the original ideas are developed from the union of concepts or ideas previously regarded as unrelated.Forced Connection commonly used at the advertisement to make people be attracted.

When I am on class, we have to choose one object that already written ( pencil, clock, computer mouse, cup, plug, candle) and we have to describe it with all of the objective such as passionate, sad, brave, creative, greedy, and hard working. This what I am doing on today’s class.

What's mine,
greedy cup : the cup has many handle so I call it greedy mug
Hardworking cup : the tip of the cup has the very tiny diameter, so when we want to put the water, it will need a lot more time, but that cup can load  a lot of water, because it have big container.
Brave Cup : why I call it brave, because even the cup is broken, the cup still brave to contain water.
The Passionate Cup : I call it passionate cup  because it have a teleport black hole when we drink from that cup, so the distance relationship couple can still kissing only with the cup that have a monitor too.
Sad Cup : the cup is like melting, so when we fill it with the water, it will spilled, so that's why I call it a Sad Cup
Unique Cup : Its a cap that the handle can contain the water, and the cup become the handle, thats why It's a Unique Cup.

So many creative ideas that came out from everybody at my class. There are creative candle, which is there was a bulb that the inside of it is a candle, the greedy pencil that there are so many tip of pencil at once pencil. Its such an interesting way to make our mind open and think more creative. We have to think hard to make an unexpected product on this case.

These are some example of forced connection that have been realized

Lateral Thinking : Chicken Problem Solving

When I am on Creative Thinking class, my lecture, Ms. Zeltan gave us a problem case that we should think the solution. Well, actually the problem maybe yes or may be not exist in our daily life. The problem is, “Chicken Problem Solving”. The problem is about, just imagine we have a garden, but our neighbors’ chicken’s yarn is broken. So the chicken break into our garden and destroy our plan that we take care of. But when we tell our neighbors that their chicken destroy our plant, they ignore it. So what we have to do? In this case, we already make a mind map for solving this problem.

In this mind map, me and my friend, Jennifer, make some way to solve the problem, with the logical way and with the fantasy way to solve it. Someway possible to do, but some another way is impossible to do. But that impossible thing to solve, make the mind map so interesting and make it not boring. So the conclusion is, the impossible thing that we already think, that will make the ordinary thing become so much more interesting than the possible.

Week 6 : Lateral Thinking

Creative thinking, why it is called creative thinking ?

Because we are forced to think creative to get the out of the box result.

When we get the out of the box ideas, we will get the better result from the mainstream one. Because when you were given 2 items, the mainstream and the uniqe, which one you prefer? I think, we prefer to choose the unique one, the more attractive items that eye catching.

The last lesson that I have got from creative thinking lesson is, that we have to think creative, logically, and continously. We was given several question that will squeeze our brain and mind. The questions that has been given does not have an a correct or wrong answer. It is depend from what we will answer. So it will be a correct answer as long we think it with creativity! Because a lot of answer have the different reason, and because of that, even the answer is silly enough, it can be the right answer! So we have to think creative, don't be affraid to spill what on our mind. Because something that we already think that it is a silly think, that can be the very inspirative thing that the public will receive it, and say welcome for it.

Week 5 : Breaking Rules (again)

Breaking rules, again. Why ? Because its so interesting to do, in our school life, even now in campus life! Like I said before, breaking rules make usual things became unusual, so conclusion is, with making the things withbresking the rules will make it become much more interesting than before. It can be the media, or using the unusual method.

For example, there is an artist that named Kittiwat Unarrom. He is a thailand artist that already breaking the rules. He do the most unusual thing.

Dont freak out, this is not a real human head. This is a immitate human head by Kittiwat Unarrom. He is using bread and make that bread become a realistic human head. For the people who dont know it, the must be very panic when saw it.

The second artist that break the rules is Julian Beever, he is using the chalk and he draw it inthe street with his amazing porpotion of the trick eyes.

The last artist that breaking the rules is Maurizio Savini. He is using a gum to sculpping.
I think that was a crazy idea of making sculpture.

The conclusion of all the picture above that i am sure it willl amazed you is. Dontbe affraid to break the rules. Because with breaking the rules, you can explore the the thing that you never done before. With breaking the rules, the ordinary thing will become unordinary thing, and that thing will make you be memorize of what you have create. So dont be affraid to breaking the rules!
